i have it on and have to shut it down when i run certain apps.

I've always been afraid to use a GUI replacement such as these. Isn't there a chance they can hose the system or at least slow it down?

no ive never seen it use more then 10 megs or ram, and ive used it sence before version 1

upgraded to the Plus version so i could have 2 seperate docks

i auto hide the docks so that could help.

YZ Dock on the other hand used to have major Memory issues, which is why i stopped useing it

Thats one cool thing about linux. Everyones desktop is remarkably different.No to users are the same why force them to move around in the same way?

really? yzdock only uses about 3 megs of my memory
