How to make Bootable Linux CD-ROM

I think it should be bootable by default.. At least most of the linux images are..
just burn it.
 
If the isos are bootable you wont have any problem. Every major distro that gives out isos gives out bootable isos. Burn it to cd and enjoy, but prepare to get a rude awakening. We wont hold your hand. You will be RTFMing.

😀 Ok, so you want this to be arcane and hard huh? First thing you have to do is download the isos. You cant do this like you would any other file, but you must sing Roxanne by the Police the entire time the iso is downloading. When burning the iso to cd, you must walk around on your hands quacking like a duck and chewing on saltine crackers. Now that you have the iso, run around your house once. If it is hot out you must be wearing Winter clothing. The heavier the better. If it is cold, wear a lot less. After the first loop around your place, insert the cd and take another lap. After the second lap reboot and start running again. After the third loop get the goat ready and make sure your knife is sharp for the installation. 😀
 
dont worry about the Linux guys.......if you ask for help, just get ready to be flamed by some of them.....however, there are some that will have no problem helping you.

As for the ISO's, just use DiscJuggler or EasyCD to burn them. I think Nero would work too, not sure on that one though. After you finish burning, just look into the CD-ROM directory and make sure you see a bunch of different files. If you see one ISO file on the CD, then you screwed up.

when telling the guy what to do for the second time but that wasn't rude, just plain funny. Geez what more should they do!
Should they go over his house and clean his room and make his bed prior to providing the info he needs ?

Just to let you all know, the joke I made was not meant to be at the expense of the original poster (and Bluga's response did not look like he took it that way to me). It was merely a social comment on how the ignorant (not stupid, look it up at dictionary.com if you dont know the difference) mystify simple procedures. Yeah, something like that 🙂
