This reminds me of a time a long time ago when I still smoked the kind. I smoked out in my room and was listening to Denis Leary when an idea hit me. Use the grill lighter I had used a few minutes earlier on the carpet fuzz. So I burn the carpet fuzz. Down to the carpet. Then, I spot a hole in my box spring cover and look inside.
"ooooh, looks like it'll burn!"
Sure nuf. It burned. A little tooo well. So I go out to the bathroom and grab a glass of water. Not enough. Go back and grab some more. On the third trip, my dad, who happened to be sitting in the living room smells something burning. I told him it was paper I was burning and tossing out the window for fun. He almost believed me. So he hauls the bed outside and hoses it down as it's now smoldering on the inside.

Which brings me to my next point: "Don't smoke crack!" Geez. Giving the potheads of the world a bad name here... 😉.

Seriously though, check your mattress and bed out. Do you have a box spring or just a mattress? If you've got a metal bed frame that screws (no pun intended 😀) together, make sure that all the screws are tight. Is the mattress still firm or is it saggy at all anywhere?

why make it quieter? To me the noise is part of the fun. Do you have roommates that complain or something? In college we'd just turn up loud music when we started hearing people.

LMAO....I just had to deal with this exact same problem an hour ago....

I second the floor option.
At least, thats the only solution imma give without getting into graphic explanations.

We end up using the floor, but the carpet is kinda rough on her knees.......😀
Anyways...I guess the matress is too soft or something....

rough on her knees eh, what is this doggy style?

it probably was in his case...im sure the rug burns were a b!tch...
lol...my g/f had wall burns on her knees. There's quite the story behind that, though.😉

My GF and I move the matress to the floor when my roomate is home and we don't want him hearing 🙂

I'd say more like "doesn't want his parents finding out." 😛

Any other excuse is unacceptable. Just crank up the tunes and uNf away. 😀

ya,

buy a Latex mattress, No springs, NO NOISE, believe me, in my house i wouldn't survive if the mattress was noisy. my wife is always very sensitive to the fact that our kids (6, 3, 2) might hear us, so having a quiet mattress has been a lifesaver for me.

did you try flipping the mattress? If that doesn't work get another mattress and stack it ontop of your existing one.
