Soul Calibur is the best game ever, period. If not another great game comes along for the DC, Soul Calibur was worth the buy in.

Toxin: You're touting Sony's LAZINESS as a feature? First of all, I am not 4 years old so the PSX controllers are way too small for me. And for a guy I don't even have that big of hands. Sony got lazy and kept the same mechanics for their controllers so they wouldn't have to do any real work. So you get the same 2 ports and same horrible, horrible controllers.

I never used to be an N64 fan, but a lot of the games that are 4 players are fun as hell. Get some friends and you'll know what I mean :) You can say to buy a multi-tap, but no one ever does since they're 30-40 bucks and the only games that ever end up supporting them are football, hockey, basketball, and soccer.

As for the Dreamcast controller, I just bought a system this weekend for 150 bucks. I bought two Interact controllers and they're a bit bigger but feel a LOT better than the stock DC one. Cheaper too.

There is no way I'd ever pay 300 for a POS sony. Not in this market. If I plop down any money for a better system it'll be for Nintendo's because I think they actually have a pretty clear vision for the future. Hopefully sony doesn't play a little b!tch and buy off game developers to have exclusive games.

Shudder : that's personal opinion.. i'm in the 20s.. i like the ergonomics of the PS/PS2 controller as to the DC controller.. maybe you think that Sony should make a new controller when a new system comes out.. but.. you know.. it's saving me from buying the new ones anyways due to backwards compatability... let me remind you... the ps/ps2 controller has been mimiced to the PC ala. Gravis Gamepad Pro..

quite honestly... 30 bux is nothing for a Multitap.. but how often do you plave more then 3 player games... i mean.. you and your friends can dish out 5 bux each and viola.. a multitap..

buy of game developers?... you talking Xbox?.. LOL

that's fine by me Shudder.. i bought my POS Sony.. and the games imho are much better then the POS DC that i have also.

POS as in literally, a piece of sh!t. People are still having problems with PS2s hardware. I don't even want to know how many did with the original PSX (I was one).

Backwards compatible is one thing. Offering nothing new is pathetic.
