Yup ornamental. Pretty neat you can turn dirt and sand into a shiny ball by hand mechanically without any firing or chemical processes though.

After all...it's the world's most environmentally friendly form of ornementation! Made of non-toxic materials, and completely bio-degradable!

It is pretty cool actually. I've bookmarked the page but I'm honestly not sure if I will ever get around to making one. Would make a cool little thingy to put on my desk though.
