Perhaps you should add the part where you have to edit the URL to insert "rig" before "id", otherwise it doesn't go straight to the rig in question...

Yup much easier if you have a bad link in your sig just ADD rig before the ID=***

guess this isnt enforced usage?
i gotta scroll threads 3 times as far because people have 14 line sigs with thier PC parts listed
god forbid we dont know what kind of speakers you use or brand powersupply you have

Nice post, will come in very handy for new members.

Like you for example?

EDIT: http://www.anandtech.com/myanandtech.aspx?member=136070

http://www.anandtech.com/mysystemrig.aspx?rigid=26748

both of those work.

Both of those work for me too.

One takes you to his page and the other directly to his computer, right?

But the one in his sig takes you to the login page, right?

The URL you copy are like these

http://www.anandtech.com/mysystemrig.aspx?id=26748

The URL should be modified in your sig so id == rigid

http://www.anandtech.com/mysystemrig.aspx?rigid=26748

mine is like this http://www.anandtech.com/mysystemrig.aspx?rigid=29446

its werd because i followed those steps.

so did http://www.anandtech.com/mysystemrig.aspx?rigid=31213

Bump...

lots of people still have bad links in their sigs.

I think part of the problem is the directions actually tell you the wrong way to do it now 🙁

The links given in the bottom of the rig pages are acutally the ones that don't work.
