Something along the lines of your animals seem to have left this in my yard. I thought I'd do the neighborly good thing and return it.

That's what I did after asking the person many times, and having animal control come to her house and explain it's illegal to walk her dog without a leash, or let him roam the neighborhood. It didn't stop, so every time I saw her dog crap in my yard, I shoveled it up, and returned it to her... either in her yard, or on her porch. So while I may be a "real jerk" according to some of you, I'm just returning what's her's. She's a small lady, and the dog is big, and I've seen her try to walk it and it just pulls her around, she can't control it, so she lets it run free.

Is it possible for you to go tie her dog up for her and close the gate? Repeatedly, so she gets the point. I know you might be called "trespassing" but no judge or police officer would touch you for it if you're just "trying to keep her dog safe because he was running at large again"...

Perhaps I should have clarified. The person I was referring to is a real jerk. He never tried to talk to the person, and even if that situation had never arisen, he's a real jerk.

No, you are a dumbass. Dogs don't let themselves out and they don't know any better once they are loose. Injuring them doesn't accomplish anything as the responsibility lies with their owners.

So if your my dog came in your yard and bit a kid, you would not worry about the dog and get back to his owner about it or beat his brains out.

Look, I understand that you're probably 14 or so and play a lot of CounterStrike, but things just don't work this way. At the very least if you kill/injure the guy's dog you'll probably get sued (you'll win, but getting sued is a PITA any way you cut it). Real adults call up animal control and let them handle the situation. Now go outside and play, the adults are talking.

Edit- we're talking about dog crap here, not Cujo carrying off your toddlers.

Her dog is not my responsibility and I refuse to take responsibility for it. If I have to tie it up and clean up it's crap, then it's more like it has become my dog, and I don't want a dog, I don't like dogs. I'd love it if the dog attacked someone and she was arrested and the dog was put to death.

If my dog was to be on your property;call the pound,police, hit em or whatever the hell you want to. Thats a lesson to be learned. But I as a owner take the time to teach my dog what is right and wrong. So you would not have to worry about that. I live miles away from any houses. In the summer I go live with my mom, she lives in the city and the dog(sargeant) stays outside around the house. Not once in 3 years has he left that house without one of us.


Like I said , I said I was sry for offending anyone, if thats not good enough then drop it.
