yeah that's my choice too, S&P almost always outperforms any other index

although you say mutuals are good i still say they are crap, those guys on TV saying buy this buy that THOSE ARE THE GUYS HANDLING YOUR MONEY. they don't always do good but you still need to pay the 3% or whatever to let them hold it. in general most mutual funds are just scams but a few actualy make money. i know Maryl Lynch was in the news like a few years ago for scamming people hard core in terms of charging brutal rates and not doin worth a crap in return

mutual funds are good if you know how to pick them. i have a grand uncle whom i see fairly often. he's a retired professor of economics at the uw, and he made millions from mutual funds.

Build up your 401K the compounded interest will be nice when you retire. Although I slowed down a bit now.

<< I did recomend NVDA to folks, and since then it has gone up 300%
Luck?
Who knows.

I've been riding on NVDA's wave ... Great, great investment.

But if you want to make REAL money ... watch those late-night TV shows where they tell you how to invest in real-estate. That's where you'll get the real bling bling.

(I was kidding about the last part)
