How to interest people in gaming PCs?

So, in an attempt to dispel the commonly held, college-age-kid myth that good gaming PCs are too expensive to get and that consoles are the way to go, I have been showing off my PC to my friends here in college and, in doing so, lead them to get PCs themselves.

However, my market is saturated (i.e. my circle of about 12 gaming friends -- every one of whom now has a PC built by me)! Yet I'm sure that on a campus with 10,000 people, I could at least interest a good number of them.

But my question is, how? Thoughts? Strategies? I'm a Math/CS guy, so marketing isn't exactly my strong point!

so you want to market PC's like their consoles?
make some commercials i guess, but most gamers don't care about the graphics, its cheaper to get a console and rent most of the games.

Well, of course, I'd like to build not-specifically-for-gaming PCs (CAD workstations for the engineering students, for example), but games seem to have driven all the people I've built PCs for...

LAN events or clubs, Steam groups so you can play with people you actually know, Private Ventrillo server for the school. And fliers in dorms and common areas advertising this stuff. Might also want to offer advice and help with builds as well.
