How to install XP into SATA hdd?

I just bought a SATA hdd recently & fix it to be the Primary Master Drive. When I boot up using my XP cd, it can't install because it can't find the SATA drive. How do I install XP into a SATA hdd? Please help.

When XP setup is starting, press F6 and insert the floppy disk that has your SATA controller drivers on.

It will then load the drivers from floppy, and you will be able to see your SATA disk.

is your sata channel on an IC5R southbridge?
if it is, you'll have to put the xp sata raid drivers onto a floppy then at xp install you'll have to hit F6 to load the drivers!
