How to Install Siri on MAC OS X

Siri is the smartest personal assistant available on your system just a one install away, could let you help in various multitasking, enabling you customize your efforts. It is an intelligent boost up to your Machine working as a best ‘Artificial Intelligence’ on your system. Siri on MAC can do wonders, lets go through the steps to see how it works for us and get it installed on our system.

Step 1
Open ‘System Preferences’

Select the ‘System Preferences’ and drag your mouse to the ‘Dictation & Speech’ tab displayed in the window pane.

Step 2
Click on Dictation & Speech
‘Dictation & Speech’
enables you with the first step of using the SIRI on Mac OS X. Slightly ‘Drag’ your mouse to check on the radio button to enable the Dictation option.

Step 3
Select the ‘Enable Dictation’

The ‘Enable Dictation’ button leads you to use the given functionality on the MAC.

Step 4
Check the 'Use Enhanced Dictation Checkbox'

Post above step, select the checkbox ‘Use Enhanced Dictation’ to enable the enhanced version of dictation to be started on your MAC, this feature could be possibly used without the internet connection as well.

Step 5
Select Text to Speech Tab

The ‘Text to Speech’ tab, that is just next to the ‘Dictation’ tab needs to be selected.

Select the ‘System Voice Dropdown’

The ‘System Voice Dropdown’ should be selected to use the default voice of the system which is currently as ‘Samantha’ , which will be downloaded on selecting the same.

Select ‘Accessibility’

Select ‘Accessibility’ from the ‘System Preferences’, click on the accessibility to access the ‘Dictation Tab’ from this.

Step 8
Select 'Dictation'

Click on the dictation tab opened in the window just on the left of the window pane and select the ‘Enable the Dictation Keyword Phras’ and then simply check the ‘Play Sound when Command is Recognized’ option.

Step 9
Select on 'Dictation Command'

Click on the 'Dictation Command' button on the top and enable the ‘Enable Advance Commands’ by selecting on it and then ‘Done’.
