How to Install Doom 3 on Windows 98 and Windows Server 2003

not only for windows 2000 or XP now.

this is a hack but a simple one, just takes a few minutes and works easy.

1. Copy first CD to the hard drive
2. Then open the "Doom 3.msi" on Installshield Developer as you can see in the image. If you don't have such professional tools, you can use orca or I guess anything similar.
3. Find "LauchCondition" and delete it.
4. The OS check is gone, just open nero, and drag files to be burnt to a CD-R.

this worked for me to get it running on server 2003.
can't see a difference between running this and on XP.
so far it's all fine.
but since my back up PC uses server 2003 I didn't feel like reinstalling a OS just for one game, so I needed a hack and this one worked perfect.

Sorry, I'm newbie here. BTW, I wasn't the one who found that out. Also, I jsut thoguht you guys should know. Thanks for pointing out that I post int he wrong place.
