Do you parents pay for your school? If you want to increase motivation for school, pay your own way. Get a job, work 40 hours a week and take 15 credits a semester.

The reason why this might increase your motivation for school is because you will realize how much work it takes to actually pay for school and you might want to make sure you do well because you worked hard to pay for it.

agreed. i am doing this. full time job and full time school are a b!tch.

even though i find time to post here - lol.

Try to study at the library in one those single cubes, or study with a group. try not to study in your dorm room or at home where there is lots of distraction.

yeah i still chat and hang out with her often. funny how most of my friends are girls, all with boyfriends

but yes it really motivated me to study when someone keeps checking on your progress :D

All I can think of when reading this thead is the New Guy, with that geeky kid on the rope and the black guy setting it on fire saying "Well, motivation's on the way..."

Not sure how this applies to your situation. Use your imagination.
