About once to twice a month, me and a buddy get together and drink during a frag fest. We start a server, eat munchies and drink either 100proof vodka, or 151 bracardi. I don't belive the myth that the heavier people can out drink the lighter. I'm 118lbs and 5' 7" (eek!) and I can take down about 10 shots worth in a 3 hour period. The key is to eat! We always have a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich before drinking, and eat pretzels or chips during.

Be sure you drink a couple glasses of water before you sleep :). It's hard to drink it when your buzzing, but if you don't you're going to kick yourself in the morning.

Complex Carbos, No Chugging, and Exposure will increase your tollerace. :)

foods high in fat & grease... like pizza & butter slow GI transit times & the rate of absorption somewhat. The alcohol stays in the stomach longer. Some is absorbed directly from the stomach, but not as much as in the intestine.

The best fix for your current situation is to drink weaker drinks.

Become an alcoholic.

It seems if you constantly binge drink over the longer term you' eventually develop a bit of a tolerance.

Lots of bread beforehand, and if you really want to get into it, buy some Ripped Fuel from GNC and take 2 (depending on weight). You can drink all night, and if anyone fvcks with you, you'll probably put their head through the wall. ;)

What you want is a big plate of fried food. Fried clams and french fries, fish and chips, etc. After a meal of this stuff, you'll be amazed how much you can put away.

Dooling37....... just make sure it's Ripped Fuel & not Diet Fuel because it has ASA in it (Asprin)........ see my earlier post.
