How to hide optical drive icons in my computer?

I don't have any optical drives installed in my case, but in My Computer it displays two "CD Drive (E: )" and "CD Drive (F: )", which is a bit annoying.
Can these icons be hidden or something?
 
Look in device manager to see how the connection to these drives are showing up (eg, ATAPI). Ensure that any reference to these drives are statused as "none" in the BIOS and that they are set to disabled in device manager.
