did a new system for a friend's office, and he gave me the old Dell XPS90 that it replaced. Great little bomb-proof Dell AT case. So in went an Asus P2Z w/ latest bios(ZX chipset - 1 less irq, and 256mb RAM limit - otherwise full BX). Tried my 650E at 866 - worked like a charm - with a fast vid card, fast HDD, this would be a serious wolf in sheep's clothing.

I did the same thing, but I used a el-cheapo pcchips 726mrt, for $36 it comes with a V.90 modem and 3d sound, put a celeron 366 on it and 64megs with a 10gig hd and a 40x cdrom ide zip old 4meg agp card, just stuff i had in the closet.

the asus board was $59. can't beat that - it's essentially a slightly hamstrung P2B-F. super stable and has 15 different fsb including 140 & 150 + a 1/4 pci divider.
