Already did that but doesn't make any difference about her feelings about computers. She likes to play Sims 2, but beyond that game her she is not interested.

You're correct about how much she likes it.

If you actually think you'll get her interested in programming or hardware, you're on a loser with most chicks ...

Thank god, i can't imagine much more dull than a computer obsessed chick ;)

What could be more romantic than Database Programming over a bottle of wine?

Fair question. Hardware and gaming (besides Sims 2, which I don't like, but still I take the time to learn about the game, since it means so much to her and loves talking about it).

I have taken the time to understand the stuff she likes, even though I personally would not be interested in most of her stuff without her in my life. Would be cool if this worked both ways.

I hope it makes sense. English is not my primary language.

You don't. You spend time with them instead of fapping off to ATOT.

She is sleeping now, and I spend as much time with her as I can.

Don't worry about. Your English is perfectly fine and better than a majority of posters on the board (including my own at times) ;)

Computer Hardware to the vast majority of people is not that interesting. It is also a bit more difficult to learn about and keep up with than other hobbies.

You could try telling her about things when you're on the computer together. Try something like "you know because of the different types of video cards and features, the Sims could be displayed better with less jagged edges" and then try to tell her about video cards and Anti-Aliasing and other features. This could be a bit more involved than she'd like, but no harm in giving it a try.

Or you could try to tell her about networks and the internet if for example your internet connection goes down.

Gaming would be easier. Try to find a game that you guys both like. Something on more common grounds at first, like a puzzle or trivia game. Then try to see if she likes the computer games you do.

Does she play Halo?

This can be dangerous, but you could introduce her to shopping sites, I used to have a gf with a fetish for jewelry. She'll be so busy shopping that she won't need you anymore, except maybe for financial reasons.

Listen to this.

It's not what you think. Don't try to get your girlfriend or spouse into doing the same thing as you when it's something that probably occupies a good chunk of your time. (Especially when it's as dull and stupid as video games or computers.) You'll both end up sitting there with computers between you, talking through IM in the same room, neither of you able to get up off your butt to go do anything.

I wouldn't want her too, everyone needs a hobby. You'll want some time to yourself eventually lol.
