How to get watch face scratch's removed?

Anyone know the best way to get minor scratches to a watch face removed?

I've heard toothpaste, but I've never tried it.

A jeweler can buff out scratches on a crystal watch face, not sure if they can do the same if it's plastic.

Toothpaste will work on plastic crystals and will not hurt others. Jewelers rouge works also if you can get any. Car rubbing compound or go to Jeweler. If a good watch, crystal can be replaced pretty cheaply.

a friend of mine used household Vim to remove small scratches on the glass!
works like jewelers rouge.
