How to...get to 1GHz..?

I heard some ppl say with a athlon 800, you can lower the multiplier from 8.0 to 7.5, and then increase ur FSB to 133mhz.. u can achieve an 1GHz core speed.

and How can u do that?

you can do that, but it all depends on how far your chip will go and what kinda cooling you have. just try it 😉

I plan to get the A7V133 , an athlon 800mhz cpu...
so...will that combination be possible to get to 1GHz using 7.5 x 133 setting??

And what cooling u recommend?

really not much diff in the chances of getting to a gig using a higher clocked cpu say 800mhz or a 600-650mhz.

WEll,...with the 7.5x133 configuration , do i need to set anything else...like the voltage??
i have no idea what the voltage do...><
