There is no possible way to get directions, because I do not know where here is, and I do not know where there is. So, therefore, I can't be lost.

You should know where here is because you are already there. So your statement is true. You can't be lost. 🙂

There is no better than here. When your there has become your here, and your past has become your future, you know no space in time like the present. 🙂

 
You have just touched on the essence of mankind's eternal struggle my son...

We are constantly defining where "here" is in order to make a disctinction between "here" and "there"

Some do it by coordinates, some by $, some by health, etc. Nothing wrong with it, but as a result you always know where "here" is because someone has been "there" and has defined it as "there" or "here" in your present case.
