I found this guide..

It sounds promising since hydrogen peroxide is the key ingredient to all teeth whitening products. I haven't tried it though.
But I've been using this product for two weeks now after seeing good ratings on it. It seems to have done absolutely nothing.

I don't smoke, drink coffee, etc... I'm pretty sure I have genetically yellow teeth as my mom and my sister has quite yellow teeth. My sister spent a fortune to get her teeth whitened, and it worked pretty well for her.

Just gargle some Clorox for half an hour a day. That'll whiten your teeth up nice and quick.

*4/5 dentists agree that's a bad idea
**I am not a dentist
***Don't actually do this.

Crest 3D white seems to have knocked the brightness up a notch or 2 after only using it for a couple of days. :D

The cheapest way is probably to swish hydrogen peroxide for 30 seconds twice a day. Works pretty good and definitely works.

Crest whitestrips worked for me. Did it for a month. It's been over 6mo now and still get comments on teeth whiteness.

Though instead of using it twice a day for 30mins each, I used it once a day for one hour. I didn't have a problem with sensitivity unless I drank something cold right afterwards.

is $250-300 a fortune for you? you can get the whole custom whitening kit for that much at most dentist office.

Whitestrips piss me off. I salivate so much I have to constantly readjust them. I would go half hour every other day due to sensitivity. That's if I could get the them to stay in place. Usually if I didn't get them right when first applying they would constantly shift around. I didn't notice any changes after an entire box.

I used one of the mouthpiece type every other day for about a month, until I ran out. It lightened a little bit, but not a huge amount.
I spent some time researching the different kinds of teeth whitening products and information. Different peoples' teeth will react differently to each of the available products. Some more than others', and in worse case scenarios no effect at all for specific conditions. In the end it sounded like just having a dentist whiten teeth was the best, although not cost-effective solution.

Paging Mosh....
Mosh would say See Your Dentist :D

but if you want to cheap out and you can get some custom trays made, you can buy carbamide peroxide bleaching gel on ebay or so pliablemoose told me. ^_^

the thing is if you don't have custom made trays bleaching gel can get on your gums, and thaaaaaaaat's gonna hurt.

the bleaching gel comes in different strengths. just beware that while it will lighten your teeth quicker, the higher the concentration the more chance your teeth will be sensitive to the application.

There is never anything legit sold on eBay anymore. Everyone knows this.

I use the Listerine white strips, they are easier on the teeth and dissolve in your mouth.
