I think this works equally well for girls/guys as it does for guys/girls. Anything you guys would add from either side of the fence, girl talking to guy or guy talking to girl?

If you don't want me to flirt with other guys, don't expect me to get to know you by flirting with you.
If you don't want me to dress so that guys stare at me, develop an interest girls other than the ones who show off their bodies.
If you want me to be faithful to you, don't try to steal me from my current boyfriend.
If you want me to respect myself, show me respect.
If you want me to have self-esteem, say and do things that encourage me.
If you're glad that I haven't gone *that* far physically before, don't try to get me to do it for you.
If you're glad that I've had realistic standards in my past relationships, try to live up to them rather than lower them.
If you want me to live up to your standards, make them realistic.
If you want me to appreciate your standards, don't compromise them by settling for less.
If you want me to treat you like you're special, be something special.
If you want me to be willing to go out of my way for you, be willing to go out of your way for me.
If you don't want me to be clingy, encourage me in my friendships with other people, guys and girls.
If you like how I look in casual clothes and without makeup, tell me.
If you like how I look dressed up, design an occasion that I can dress up for once in a while.
If I do something you appreciate or enjoy or that makes you happy, let me know so I can repeat it.
If you want me to appreciate what a good boyfriend you are, do things for me simply because you want to make me happy.
If you want me to take the initiative in things sometimes, let me know.
If you want to know me better, get to know my family.
If you want me to get to know your family, make me feel included.
If you want to have a full relationship, talk to me as a friend.
If you want me to understand why you spend hours on the computer/with your friends/playing sports, show me/introduce me/invite me/include me.
If you want me to feel comfortable with you, be honest.
If you want me to be honest with you, be receptive.
If you want me to love you, love me.

It doesn't tell how to get the HotChickies though just how to keep the chick after you get them.

So you don't want your girlfriend to say... Kick all your friends' arses in Jedi Knight, Starcraft, and Counter-strike? I'd be like... Sniff sniff.. That's my girl... *wipes tear from eye*

Eli, I don't see how you argue with this one...

<< If you don't want me to flirt with other guys, don't expect me to get to know you by flirting with you. <-- Uhh.. >>

If you pick a girl that's a flirt, realize that she's probably going to continue being a flirt. Just having seen it happen before, I'd say that that's probably right. The others, people have varying viewpoints on things.

If you're already together, things like flirting with someone else can hurt your insecure significant other. What's more important, keeping your S.O. happy, or flirting with some guy and pissing them off?

Flirting is apart of who the person is. If you're just going to date someone and then mold them to your liking, what's the point?

I think you've got my position backwards. I don't flirt, I'm not currently dating so I don't flirt with anyone. If I were dating, *after* I began dating I'd probably flirt w/my bf, but the girls that I see that flirt with just anyone and everyone don't usually stop after they start dating. I'm not advocating that at all, just the opposite.

What was said in this thread to prompt that comment? I don't see anything particularly outstandingly jerkish... ??

Not flirting with anyone but your current love interest isn't taking away who you are and shouldn't be all of who you are either
rolleye.gif
That's absurd. It's not that hard, really. You date someone who isn't comfortable with your flirting with someone else, you don't flirt with anyone else. There are plenty of other ways to "be yourself." If I'm not dating anyone, I might flirt with girls. If I'm dating (which I am), I don't flirt with anyone but her. Plain and simple.

You're missing the whole idea that some women flirt with everyone and it's apart of who they are. If you can't handle that, you have no business being with that girl. If the girl only flirts with those she likes, then she shouldn't be expected to flirt with anyone but you.
