Just change your speaker option to 5.1 in Windows Control Panel. This will allow you to check on the surround sound option in Doom 3. Using my Audigy 2 and classic Klipsch v.2-400, I can get full surround sound w/o the need for a center channel.

Hope this helps!

this is not true 4.1 sound tho. its pretty apparant that you are missing a center channel, a lot of sounds dont make it to the front left and right speakers.

i cant bieleve this game doesnt support 4.1 sound, is there any other way to get this to work?

actually it works pretty well; the R+L speakers do deliver enough of the center channel to make it better than 2 speaker stereo. ;)

You can also use Creative's (crap) effects console to make your stereo sound into 4 speaker "surround".

Doom iii sucks anyway. :p
