I used to mess around with dns zones. people would type in google.com and our dns server would redirect it to a gay porn site that opened a control less pop up with a flash vid on it. Watching people frantically figure out a way to close the page was hilarious.

Lucky you didn't get fired and you and your company sued over that. Real asshole move by someone in control of a network.

Your signature should also get you banned here.

I just clicked on his signature...man I fell for that pretty bad!

I clicked it just to see what it did. Was more benign than I thought.

it's like middle school, sort of the same as serving up porn for a google.com hit. CEO or not, as someone controlling that in IT, I would have told him showing porn; esp gay porn to employees can set your ass up for a serious lawsuit. It may all be a joke today, but the day you have to fire/layoff Joe in accounting will be the day he suddenly comes forward with ever since that 'day' he has felt hindered at work not knowing what he will see just opening a simple interoffice mailing.

Lawsuits against employers are some serious shit.

A lot of the pranks suggestions in this thread are the recipes for a disaster. Losing your job is the least of your worries.

Right state, different city. I suppose it was a long shot in that it can't be that unique. The good old days ... Ohio, the hotbed of inovation.
