How do I get rid of this annoying virus. Norton couldn't repair it in regular or safe mode. It just won't go away and is infecting everything... HELP!
 
Symantec's removal instructions

Note the need to disable System Restore. You got your virus definitions up-to-date, and all the heuristics and scanning within compressed files turned on?

(bigger picture: figure out how your computer was infected and take steps to prevent it happening again)
