I am really surprised you can't get rid of it for your asking price - my mom actually paid $2K for that set, about two years ago. Many people still believe it has the best image quality of any TV ever made (although I personally prefer DLP or SXRD).

I have a similar situation, I have a Zenith WS 32" which weighs more than Oprah and Rosie combined :Q, but it has a really great picture. I was considering selling it but I've decided I'm going to keep it strictly for gaming purposes. I can't bring myself to just give it away, which is basically what I would have to do to get rid of it. Maybe if you can make room for it just keep it as an extra gaming station or a high end monitor. (that's if you have the space for it)

Yep, asking price is too high. Ask $350 and play the haggle act for $325. Thats just how it goes my friend.

Expecting to get $500 for that TV used is just silly ... reminds me of the way people price items on FS/FT.

You have to accept that what you paid for it no longer has much relevence ... if you get $300 for it you'll be doing very well.
