How to get programs operational?

Hey all, I just bought someone a compaq with windows me on it. I wanted to just throw in his old hard drive (win95) as the primary slave so that he would have access to his programs, old emails, etc. However, Im having big issues with non-present dlls, making it so that the programs on the slave drive will not execute. Is there any easy way to get this stuff running?

All of it , or specific stuff ? Its going to be confusing for the new install.

Moving some things can be easy others I would prefer to eat my case instead.

Yeah, Im thinking it might be near impossible. The old hard drive has some files like wordperfect 6.1 and other applications. The copying over isn't hard, but the registry entries seem impossible to replicate.

Well surely the data is more important than the programs, install the progs on the new drive then copy the rest (data) over.

hehhe, easy to do if you still have the install discs. Im having someone bring me a fresh copy of corel office suite.

I recommend you just keep the files and forget about the applications. It's probably going to be downright impossible to replicate every necessary registry entry (as you already stated yourself). In short, just keep the files, forget about the applications, and save yourself the headaches. Eventually, I'm sure you'll get the installation discs one way or another.
