how to get 'my network places' onto xp desktop

Well with my computer and my documents you can just right click on them in the start menu and add them to the desktop, but how do you do it with my network places and IE? I don't want to just have shortcuts, but the real deal. I did this on my other computer, but that was eons ago and now I'm messing with my HTPC.

BTW, it rocks having an 85" monitor 😉...
 
Right click anywhere on your desktop and go to Properties. Choose the Desktop tab and check the IE and My Network Place Box.
 
if you put a toolbar to the desttop on the task bar they show up there also, this is usualy how i get around in xp
