how to get IE to quit whining about security certificate

How do I get IE to quit flashing up the warning about a certificate?

I have tried reseting the security settings to low but it wont let me change them from medium to low,I looked in the security settings and didn't see anything about certificates

Look in Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab and scroll down to the Security section, there's some certificate-related options there.

Have you installed the Root Certificate update from the Windows Update site? It's an optional install.

If you tell us which site is causing the problem, we may be able to troubleshoot the issue.

Sometimes, clearing all the Cookies and Browsing History, then restarting the browser will clear that issue.
