Most folks around here seem to enjoy a good cup of coffee and the topic comes up all the time. I always jump in and practically thread crap about how most coffee sucks unless you buy the green and roast it yourself at home. This is true, but not exactly helpful to most folks ;) and I understand and appologize. Here is how you can enjoy the same quality a lot easier:

8$/pound plus shipping is a fantastic deal

This guy has a fantastic reputation as a roaster and cupper. He just got back from Panama where he was part of a distinguished panel of judges who blindly cupped and ranked coffee for the SCAP Panama cupping competition.

I think buying and grinding the beans is enough work for most people. It is for me and you get great coffee that way.

Sometimes.
Often the coffee you grind at home is already stale.
This guy will ship it to you the day it is roasted for $8 a pound.

Or there is another simpler way to get a good cup of coffee:
Step 1: Get in your car
Step 2: Drive to Starbucks
Step 3: Buy a cup of coffee
Step 4: Drink the cup of coffee
Step 5: Discard the paper starbucks cup.

I thought the thread was about Good coffee... Starbucks = over roasted medium quality beans.... Its not called the McDonalds of coffee without reason

I was on a roadtrip last year and came across some Brazilian Bourbon from Red Rock Roasters in New Mexico.... Best coffee I have ever had.....
