Where can I get something to give me some extra USB headers? I have a FongKai case with no front USB, which was fine before with my BX motherboard. But now I have a Soyo Dragon and want to use those extra headers. What are my options?

thanks

there are 5.25 & 3.5 bay insert panels with USB ports installed (among other connections). an aluminum drive bay insert may be tought to find. make sure you get one that is intended to plug into a motherboard header. most on the market presently are the 'pass thru' type, where the cable is merely passed thru the inside of the case and then out the back to be plugged into an I/O USB port. once you locate the correct 'type', your gonna have to make sure that the cable supplied is compatable with your particular motherboard! I have seen at least 3 different pin configurations for onboard USB headers!! evidently there is no exacting standard fo manufacturers to conform to. (damn I end too many sentences with a preposition like to! hah!)
any of the larger component retailers should have what you need! you might want to check directron and cyberguys to start with. (damn preposition again)

I have the soyo dragon plus board. It came with a 3.5" front USB and smart card reader. Perhaps you could contact Soyo about getting one of these. I used this for an extra front two USB ports. I purchased a refurb Epox 8kha+ board from newegg. I used the rear USB header on my soyo system, BUT it was not the correct pin assignment. Good thing I checked BEFORE I hooked it up. All I had to do was reverse some of the pins on the cable end. Works like a charm. Just ask around at a local shop to see if they will sell one to ya. If you want something for the front, Antec has one that I've seen in my local Intrex store, but there again, you should double check the pins to make sure it will work.
