Is there a way to get my blackberry, which is setup with a bes server, to not auto lock? It's really annoying to have to unlock it just to take a call. Often by the time I get to my phone if not near it, then unlock it, the call is lost.

You don't have to unlock it to answer a call. Just hit the green call button. You can also make calls when it's locked if you enable the option.

There is a very good reason why the BES admin has put a Lock policy on all BBs and you shouldn't remove it. Well, using the security option you can't as it's locked. It CAN be removed through hacking an OS image to not include the BES policy file from your company.

Hmm you're right, I had the impression I had to unlock to do anything with it. I also noticed if I call it, it rings like 3 times before the cell picks up, but guess that's normal as it has to travel through all the air waves etc.

Your company probably wouldn't like that very much. Its very annyoing, but unfortunately, the way it goes.

haha, I don't think 300 pandora alerts would be worth snooping at. (I need to fix that service that keeps failing, one of these days :p)
