^^You may have to mess around with it for a little while though. I had to keep turning it on and off before windows would recognize it.

okay managed to get it to work
created my own passkey
then had to press enter - #passkey# - enter during the installation

now there is no del key on the wireless keyboard. was wondering if anyone knew a list of shortcuts for windows that can be used or programmed to this keyboard

Well, if you are using the bootcamp drivers then you can Fn+delete to function as a delete.

if you don't have the bootcamp drivers, i suggest you get them

I've got one I use on my Vista media center with the bootcamp drivers, but whenever I turn on caps lock, the KB locks up, I have to turn it off and back on for it to work.

Not a big deal as it's really just used for browsing my music library, but annoying nonetheless. Also, wish I could get the media control keys to work.

Just use some kind of macro or remapping program to set the keys the way you want. Here's one from a quick google:

I think it's dumb that it's 2007 and Apple didn't release Windows drivers. All companies should release Windows/Mac/Linux drivers for all of their hardware, imo.

When you're done remapping, why don't you post a guide for everyone who wants to use the BT KB on their Windows machines? I think that'd be useful for a few people around here :) Go from initially setting it up to how to remap the keys so that they work normally!

it was pretty much straight forward. get windows to detect it as normally with any BT device. i chose Use my own passkey then install. pressed enter, entered the passkey, then pressed enter again (or skip the first enter, don't remember) then it installed correctly and has been working since

the remapping of the keys are pretty straight forward, just requires a reboot after every key remapping

So just put it in detect mode and go from there? What remapping app did you use?
