How to get a playground for my daughter's private school

My daughter goes to a small private school that operates on a shoestring budget.

They've been there a couple of years and recently purchased the building which used to be a pipe-fitters union hall and training facility. Interior renovations have consumed all resources and we still don't have a playground.
Something like this would be great, but even at the sale price with installation would come out to 12-15,000

Any thoughts on how I could come up with the money? Anybody give grants to private institutions? Anybody done anything like this and have useful info?

I realize I could sell my body, but I'm afraid I'd only end up with enough for a video card.

Get the community/parents together to volunteer to put it up. This should take care of the installation costs. I'm sure there are all sorts of people who could direct, build, help, grunt work, etc.

Yes, private schools can get grants.

I'd build something with parental labor.

You could probably build something like that yourself for like $2000 (out of wood, not metal obviously)

But then a kid gets hurt on it and you get sued.

Does your town have a locally owned hardware store/lumberyard? You might hit them up for funds - they might be willing to trade labor/supplies for advertising/word of mouth.

EDIT: and  for the sonz70 reference.
