How to get 1280x768 ? 16/9 50" screen

Here my problem. I just received a Pioneer Plasma Screen 50". It looks very good, but the aspect ratio is 16/9.
According to the manufacturer, the resolution is to be set to 1280x768.

How can I get my Win2000 Professional system to display such a resolution ? The PC is a Dell with built-in video card i815. I know it sucks but that's what we have right now.

Should I get a specific driver for the screen, for the video card ??? Any help would be appreciated.

OK Guys, just checked, according to Intel, the i815 does not support the mode I need 1280x768.

Any suggestion. What video card can I use to support this mode. The screeen is a Pioneer PDP-502MX
(True XGA at 1280 x 768).

Thanks

Using Powerstrip, can I expect to get this resolution out of my i815 integrated video ?

Any risk using Powerstrip ?

Thanks,

Since money is no object. The best you can get is an Extron scan convertor and jump up to the RGBHV inputs. The scan convertor will also give you total control over the output signal. This is how we do boardrooms in the AV industry.
