How to format a drive w/o a floppy drive?

Short of taking the drive and putting it into my other rig, is there anyway i can run a low level format of a hard drive w/o a floppy?

Use a Windows 98/ME/XP Lunix Boot CD. I haven't had a floopy in my last 3 computer from about 3 years ago.

you can put the disktool onto a thumb drive and boot usb.

i dont think this old rig can boot via usb... its a 500mhz PIII
