How to fix this?

The picture clearly shows the issue. How do I glue the broken pin to the adapter? Would any kind of soldering work fix it?

I'd probably be looking for a replacement if you couldn't open it up to replace the pin. Solder isn't meant to carry stress... Liable to break the pin off inside of the socket.
