How to fix small scratches in a Palm screen?

I have some small scratches on my Zire 71, anyone have any good methods to remove? I have some diamond compound at work that I'm thinking of trying, it works on watch faces. I also have some generic plastic polish.

I heard some kind of oil can fix that from the folks on cliesouce.

This comes well recomended over at ipodlounge for getting scratches of screens. Ymmv though I suppose.
