How to fix mp3s?

Some of my mp3's, when i try to burn them into audio cds with nero, nero only reads up to a portion of the song. Sometimes half, and sometimes only 2 seconds of it. When i play the mp3 file with winamp, there is a little stutter but very small at the same point. Is there a program to fix that problem?

what speed are u burning them at? try 2x and see if u get same problems.

 

No, that's not the problem. When i try to add the song to the list in "audio cd" portion of nero, is only adds parts of the song. In other words, it has nothing to do with burning. It's when u r trying to do a compilation cd with songs, and u drag the song over, nero only says like 4.7 secs and not 5:01 minutes like the song should be. And then when i play that particular song in winamp, i do notice a little stutter or skip. Please Help!!!!!

The only thing you can probably do is to re-encode the mp3s.

Personally, I use winamp for re-encoding with the mp3 out plugin and the fraunhofer codec.
