It can happen that your home screen reads 'Loading Accessories and Scenes' and stays stuck there. If that ever happened to you, read on because these are the steps to resolve it. When this happens on your iPhone, the safest way to go is to force a restart or hard reset on it. These are the ways for each model.

iPhone 6 and All Earlier Versions
All versions of the iPhone including the iPhone 6 have the same mechanism to perform a hard reset on them. It is very easy to do it: just press and hold the ‘Home’ and the ‘Power’ buttons together and the screen will go black until a big white apple appears in it. Then, the phone will restart by itself.

Hard Reset iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Versions
This is the transition model in which the combination is different than other the other models. In this particular case you need to press down and hold the ‘Volume Down’ button in combination with the 'Side' button. Your screen will go black, but don´t worry because a white apple will appear and your phone will reboot and hopefully be better than it was before.

The Latest Versions: iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X
The latest versions of the iPhone require you to push a combination of buttons to perform a hard reset on it. The first thing to push and release is the ‘Volume Up’ button. Right after you let that button go, press the ‘Volume Down’ and release it. Once you are done just press the 'Side' button on your phone until the screen goes completely dark and a white Apple. Don´t be scared, your phone is safe and sound and will reboot to be better than it was before.

Once you have performed a ‘Hard Reset’ on the device, you are ready to continue enjoying it for a long time.
