How to fix CRC error

I have some files archive on about 30 CDS that I need to retrieve. Everytime, I've tried to copy them over to my HD, I get a CRC error. Is there anyway for me to recover these files or are they toast?

 
download ISO buster and see if you can extract the files with that. ISO buster uses a raw way to copy the data off the cd if I am not mistaken, so give that a shot.

P.S. you can find ISO buster by searching with google, its free as well =)
 
Sounds possible that the quality of the cd's may have been cheap. You might try a different cdrom to read them and copy the files to the hard drive. A burner might have a better chance of reading them without errors.
