How to enable Udma 66 on Abit KT7

Check 2nd screen at POST...should say "ATA 66". ;D

anyone know what to do if the screen says ATA 33? I've got ATA66 drive, just not sure how to enable it..

you have to unstall via drivers and check the dma option for your drive in system manager

It should do 66 by default if you have a 66 cable plugged in correctly, blue end at mobo, black at master, grey at slave. Is the HDD the only drive on the cable ??

I agree it's probably the cable. Make sure you have an Ultra ATA cable.
