I feel the default UAC settings in Windows 7 are strict enough without being annoying like in Vista. Not really seen a good reason to bypass that and login directly as administrator.
Turning UAC off in windows 7 is the equivalent to logging in with the hidden admin account. If I really needed to do one or the other I'd just turn UAC off. Turning UAC off is also not recommended by the majority of tech enthusiasts.
