How to eliminate street racing.

Many people are injured or killed in street racing so to prevent street racing we'll eliminate the use of race cars on the street. By doing this we will outlaw the following:
Wings
Spoilers
Turbochargers
Roll cages
Carbon fiber body parts
8000HP engines

After all, who needs a race car to commute?

Wing and spoilers, carbon fiber, roll cages don't make cars faster 🙂

If you are trying to make streets safer make people take a drivers education class so these soccer moms and other incompetent drivers can learn how to drive
 
To make the streets safer we need to outlaw the elderly drivers since they buy huge cars and can't even see over the steering wheel.... plus they're OLD

No, no, no. You had a good start, but to really make it equal to the uselessness of the AWB, you need to ban the following:

- Wings/Spoilers
- Altezzas
- Aftermarket lighting
- Neon Anything
- Seat and seatbelt covers
- Windshield banners
- Decals
- Carbon fiber
- Fartcans

Turbochargers don't actually increase performance, in keeping with the precident set by the AWB. 😛 It's those damn 3" exhaust tips that really make all the r@w p0wAr, so we'll ban those.

So if they don't need them why should they be legal?
 
Um you do realize peeps will race anything with wheels regardless of horsepower dont you?
peeps have been racign since the dawn of time... you can ban all you want
but Humans like to race things...
ive watched 2 stock Geos race before... talk about comical...
at the race track during fun ford weekend I SH1T you not... one of my opponants in bracket racing was a ford powered armored car....
he was given a 19 sec head start on my 10 second mustang... and I still beat him =-p

so ban all you want it wont solve anything..
 
You can street race in a early-90's Honda. It's not like they're taking it around a track; even 70MPH in a neighborhood is plenty fast for a street race, and any econo-car can do that.

To eliminate street car racing first you have to eliminate street car racers.

In this sense, the assault weapons ban being lifted may alleviate this issue.
