How to dispose of 2 boxes full of sensetive documents?

I wouldn't see why just a shredder wouldn't work. How, sensitive are they? Just make sure it's a crosscut one. I have one and it shreds papers into such tiny pieces, I can't see anyone in their right mind being able to piece anything back together or even being able to figure out what the document was.

EDIT: Nevermind, after reading all the posts about burning I forgot you mentioned you didn't want to shred in your OP 🙂

Yeah Shredders are cheap?
A more expensive and secure one is the cross cut shredder then you won't have to burn.

you should really shred them, even if you don't have a shredder and don't want to burn them.

but make sure to properly dispose of your shreddings when the shredder gets full, or some of the original documents may remain intact (i've received packages with shredded paper as packing "peanuts" and i've seen some interesting stuff).

Dude...leaf shredder, bon fire, douse them in strong acids....come on, use your imagination, there are so many fun ways to do this.

I remember a MacGyver episode where he recovered the text on a document somebody burned...

though if you just sift through the ashes and mix everything up once you burn it nobody will ever be able to recover it.

Prior to the existence of shredders that could turn cd's, discs, and paper, into dust, burning was the only authorized way of destroying classified government documents...

So burn away

Only MacGyver will be able to recreate what was on them 😉
