How to disable the most recent programs on start menu feature

I want to see all the programs on the start menu not just the ones most recently used

Under Start Menu > Settings there is an option I think called Taskbar that brings up a list of a half dozen check marks. One is called Use personalized menus. Turn that off.

Hit start/Run/ and type msconfig, enter. A window will come up and select the "start up" tab. check or uncheck the stuff you want to start when the computer is turned on.
