How to disable Linksys router firewall

Can anyone tell me how I can disable the firewall of my linksys router. Because of it, I cannot send files over AIM & ICQ, use my comp for a webserver, and I have multiple mirc problems.

You can give your pc access to all ports through DMZ host in the advanced section. Just enter in your ip addy and apply it. That should let all incoming ports through.

Dang, that didnt work, my web server still wont work. It will work for the people on my network. Not for others. It might be the software. IM using badblue

There is not way to disable the firewall completely. You can use the DMZ host like Utterman said. Or you can setup some port mapping.

I am having the same problem with my router, cant send or recieve files over AIM an ICQ, cant get an FTP server going with ServU. This bites big time 😱

linksys, in my experiences has problems with DMZ. i could never seem to get it to work. but if that doesn't work just try forwarding the ports to the correct lan ip's as neccesary. that should get the job done.
