How to delete windows 2000 after installing xp

I currently have 2 operating systems on my computer, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. I just installed XP yesterday. Now when i restart it gives me a choice of which i want to run. Is there a way to delete windows 2000 of my computer so i just have XP?
 
I think formatting the Win2k partition makes it go poof. You can disable the ability to enter Win2k by going to XP and right clicking My Computer -->properties-->advanced tab-->startup/recovery settings button-->make XP default OS and set time to display OSes to 0.
 
It depends on what your boot partition is. If its the Windows 2000 drive then I am afraid it gets messy to try and nuke that partition as the boot files are on that HDD.
 
There is an option in Windows 2000 and XP, "show boot menu for X seconds". Right-click on the "My Computer" icon on the Desktop, select "Properties", and configure it there. You probably don't want to show that boot menu (with the list of available OSes).

Simply delete the Windows 2000 directory (why must everyone reformat?!)
