Could someone please tell me. I don't want ppl to know what I've been viewing

I looked for some kinda text file in the media player dir but found nothing. Also checked the options and found nothing. So I did a little work before asking. ;)

Thanks, can't wait to find out...

How many files does it show? If it is only a few you can simply open some decent films and it should overwrite it.

Delete the registry keys in HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Media Player\Player\recentfilelists .Then go to the library pulldown menu and go to either all audio or all video clips and right click the naughty stuff and click "delete from library".

In WMP 9, there's a "Clear History" option under Tools->Options->Privacy.

Thanks, Regedit worked! I'm gonna make some other player my default for video files to avoid this problem in the future. In Quicktime it's a simple menu option.

Just set up a dual boot with linux and don't tell your gf / wife how to logon.
OK, so that's a lot of trouble to go to, but hey it works for me.
