how to decrease warcraft 3 battle.net lag?

i have comcast cable modem and it is very fast , but when i play on battle.net, it sometimes will have half to two sec lags. It is not big deal for casual gamers but it is for me. i tried everything in my part. I do even have good ping when go to channel clan nx in US West server. And i live in San Jose, so it shouldn't be the distance problems. I was thinking maybe my opponent has lag too, but they say they don't . And when i play with one computer on battle.net without playing any ohter player . the lag is just there. so it is battle.net server problem? I really can't figure it out please help.... I really lost
 
perhaps it's your video card? you will need a pretty decent video card to not feel the graphic "lag".
